United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), along with Thinkthrough Consulting (TTC) and National HRD Network (NHRDN), organised a series of round-tables on increasing women’s participation in the workforce in the Garment Manufacturing, Retail, Automotive, and IT & ITES sectors.

The “Disha Dialogues with the Private Sector” were organised in New Delhi from 13th March to 15th March, as a series of discussions with key representatives from the corporate sector, to discuss their views on the current scenario in the garment manufacturing, retail, automotive, and IT & ITES sectors, as well as the efforts their companies are making to support women participation in the workforce. The aim of these dialogues was to find workable and implementable solutions, strategies and collaborations that can increase female labour force participation.
