Diageo & DU-Enactus, in association with TTC, organised the 1st Young India Summit on Road Safety on 26th March 2017, at the Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute Auditorium in North Campus, Delhi University. This summit was targeted at the youth to generate awareness on Road Safety and was an effort to shift youth behaviour to be more disciplined on roads and minimize accidents.

With multifarious events such as Panel Discussion on “From Myth To Reality: Can India Have Safer Roads?”, a Case Study Competition on comprehensive solution models for implementing road safety measures, short films screening on “Never Drink and Drive” apart from a discussion on whether ” Young and Responsible” be the new “Young and Aware?”, the Summit aspired to drive both notional and behavioural change amongst the youth on the subject.

Key Highlights:

Over 150 participants including students from the top educational institutes of India such as University of Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia, MICA, IRMA, IIFT Delhi, Management Development Institute, IMI Delhi to name a few.

An exciting panel of judges from reputed organisations such as FCB Ulka, Diageo, British Council, Celebrated members of the Film Industry, Educationists etc.

Highly distinguished speakers such as Mr. Sanjay Kumar, IAS, (Excise Commissioner, New Delhi), Mr. Kuldeep Singh Gangar (Special Commissioner Transport- Delhi), Representatives from organisations such as Ola, Diageo, Save Life Found, Nissan etc.
